Alpines

When the famous Ingwerson’s Alpine nursery sold its stock of plants before closing, Plants 'n' Gardens bought their collection of Rhodohypoxis. This alpine plant produces flowers over many weeks, and with over fifteen varieties grown, the range of flower types is comprehensive. Colours vary from white, pink and striped to deep cerise. There are usually over three thousand plants available in the spring, and the display will look stunning from April to June.

A wide range of other alpines are stocked throughout the year. These look particularly striking when they flower in spring. Several of the beds in the display garden are planted up with alpines, so that customers can see how they mature in the garden.
